<p dir="auto">conscious or unconscious  for Stephen King's short story, "The Raft" (adapted for the screen in <em>Creepshow II</em>, I think it was, circa late 1980s sometime).<br />
I had never seen or even heard of this movie before tonight. Until now I had always assumed that the King story "The Raft" was mainly inspired by the original late Fifties (Steve McQueen) version of <em>The Blob</em>. Now I see different.<br />
