I finely get to see the ending and it is ambiguous about Whitman's character being killed or excepted on the new alpha male.
I just can't get enough minimalism.

The poster divided the movie into 9 segments of 10:30 minutes. This is still a chopped version, taped from A&E. The full-length movie should be 119 minutes. I was desperate to watch the movie after reading the novel by William Mulvihill so I had to settle for this version from an internet seller.
But at least other fans can watch most of the movie without encouraging bootleg sales.
P.S. I keep requesting this movie from TCM.
