that the mysterons are the aggrieved party. captain black pulls up, sees their camera turn towards him and is like, that's enough for me, opens fire and tries to kill them all, having no idea how many were there, if there were women or children or whatever. and does anyone from spectrum or earth ever say, yo, sorry y'all. we messed up big time. what can we do to make this up to you? no they do not. other than being an earthling yourself, there's not much reason to be rooting for spectrum.
