Okay, i know all the angels, colonel white, lt green, cpt black, dr fawn, and all the captains. Except one. Captain indigo. I saw him in one episode, at a secret lab, and thought that, rather than just cloudbase, spectrum operatives would be stationed at other locations. Was he just a one-episode character? If i remember, all he did was press a button!! Also, the new captain scarlet had a lt silver. Did that character appear in this series?

Indigo appeared only in 'Spectrum Strikes Back'. He was murdered by Captain Black and replaced with a Mysteron duplicate. Then he attempted to kill several Spectrum officers and other VIP's by causing the ceiling of their secret bunker to cave in on them. He failed of course.
So no, Indigo was not member of the regular cast, in fact the puppet that portrayed him also appeared as other characters in other episodes, such as truck driver Macy in 'Big Ben Strikes Again'. Another non-Cloudbase captain was Captain Brown, who appeared in the pilot episode, 'The Mysterons'. Like Indigo he was killed and replaced with Mysteron duplicate, and the puppet that portrayed him appeared in later episodes as different characters.
The original series had no Lieutenant Silver. Her addition to the new series was probably to ensure the viewers that Lieutenant Green didn't have to stay put at that console 24/7!
