Okay, so, why should a person who was born anatomically male, have some "right" to use a more-or-less public restroom, especially one that might have children using it, that has been designated for anatomical females, just because the anatomical male "wants to"?
Why should an anatomical female have some "right" to be a firefighter even if she can't lift as much as a qualified male? Is there some "right" to have the standards lowered so that more anatomical females can be firefighters, just so that there might be some possibility of 50% of all firefighters being anatomical females? And if not enough anatomical females even want to APPLY, what then? Institute a female firefighter draft? Reduce the total number of firefighters by getting rid of men, until the final number is half female? Then who actually puts out the fires that there are no longer enough firefighters to handle?
And so on.
It's all claptrap nonsense, and I'm sorry if you don't understand that.

If Janice Lester was one of the first women to be tested to become Starship Captains I can understand the ban on women. But to Janice Lester's point if Ron Tracy can become a Starship Captain..

It's sooooo obvious why she couldn't be a captain. Her ass was too big to fit in the captain's chair. It states in the Starfleet manual on qualifications for captaincy:
Section 3, paragraph 112, subsection 3c, seating requirements:
The captain's chair seating area is not to be larger than 51.814 cm width by 45.72 cm depth (with cushion). A height regulation is hereby waived to account for shorter officers, which shall be referred to as the Kirk exemption.
a:
No further admendments shall be made to this rule.
So to finish Kirk's statement about Lester becoming a captain:
KIRK:
I didn't want to destroy her.
SPOCK:
I'm sure we all understand that, Captain.
KIRK:
Her life could have been as rich as any woman's, if only. If only. If only her ass wasn't so big.

K
irk dating Janice Lester at any time in his life does not make a whole of sense as Janice Lester is repulsive.
Who knows what she was like 10 years before at "Starfleet"? Even at 30 she looks hot.
As shown by his loves in other episodes, Kirk likes 'em hot and alien.

How many things do you believe are true, Kerry, simply because you believe they're true? This is a common human failing, regardless of one's politics.
You also should reread my example. You completely misunderstood it, despite my conscious attempt to make it clear.
