Charlie X (TOS)
Charlie X is about a teenager who has more power than he knows what to do with. Its pretty good especially for season one TOS. Toward the ends of the episode he begins to use that power to punish the crew. Leading to this disturbing image of a woman with no face!
I just watched that episode, and yeah that was kind of disturbing. I suppose she probably died, since there was no apparent way that she could breathe.
But the Thasians set everything right at the end of the show, including bringing back the people Charlie made disappear. This always made me think that he "wished them into the cornfield" lol.
But if the girl with no face was dead (and presumably the other crew members who she was laughing with), and they could bring back the dead, why couldn't they bring back the Antares with their crew?
Anyway, as noted, it is a pretty good episode, and a pretty good insight into the mind of an adolescent. You can feel the teen angst! And kind of terrifying in its way. Funny how beings with nearly unlimited power are such a common theme in Trek. Roddenberry must have been fond of the idea.

As far as TOS goes, pretty much everytime we see a woman on screen and she's barely wearing anything compared to what the men are wearing.
That is then usually compounded by McCoy making some sort of comment about how beautiful she is, even though she's, at most, half his age.
We then get Kirk in to finish things off by pushing everyone else away and coming on to her, before man handling her about at some point.
When I first watched TOS, about 25+ years ago as a child, I didn't pick up on any of this, but watching it now with an adult brain in the 21st century, it feels very disturbing.
In the end though, it's a 50 year old TV show, in many ways it's a product of its time and we can't hold it to modern standards, but it doesn't stop it feeling rather creepy.

McCoy's arrival into the past in The City on the Edge of Forever. Kelley's performance was disturbing and the guy accidentally vaporizing himself was also disturbing.

And let's not forget the fact that in that episode it was the first time in US broadcasting history that a giant women's pleasure device was shown on national television.

How could you not watch it? That Sherry Jackson is the hottest! Boo-Yeah! Can the brother get a witness?

Speaking from my childhood, Ruk scared the sh*t out of me. I refused to watch the episode until I was old enough to not be afraid.

it was disturbing to see the familiar Enterprise crew and their camaraderie being disrupted and fragmented by the mission they were assigned and by Jellico taking over.
To my knowledge it was only Riker who had issues with Jellico all the others did what they were told to do. Riker acted like an @ss in that episode and Jellico was right not do what Riker wanted to do since this was exactly what the Cardassians wanted.

I was uncomfortable with the scene of crew members painting a nude model at the start of a TNG episode. But, I guess I'm supposed to be sophisticated and accept it. Continuing with nudity, I was shocked when they showed Picard being stripped and tortured in "Chain of Command." Earlier in that same two-part episode, it was disturbing to see the familiar Enterprise crew and their camaraderie being disrupted and fragmented by the mission they were assigned and by Jellico taking over.

Seeing Lwaxana Troi and Alexander in that mud bath in TNG's Cost Of Living was quite disturbing,in fact by today's standards probably criminal.
