CBS Corp. and Viacom are flirting with the possibility of a second marriage, 10 years after they were broken up by Sumner Redstone in a fit of pique over Wall Streets valuation of the combined company. National Amusements, the Redstone holding company that controls CBS and Viacom, sent a letter to the boards of both companies last week urging them to consider an all-stock merger. The move confirmed speculation that putting Viacoms assets in the hands of CBS Corp. chairman/CEO Leslie Moonves has been the game plan all along for Shari Redstone, the 93-year-old moguls daughter and president of National Amusements.
