Just wanted to say that I saw this movie the other night and I realy liked the story line and the actuall atmosphere of the film especially the lavis sets etc. I haven't yet seen Magnificent Obsession but I have read some good right ups about it, can't get it on dvd here in England, can only hope they release it soon.

Pretty good movie. I liked the opening and the ending, the middle lost me a bit. Lana Turner gets better as the film progresses and turns in a deeply affecting performance. It was made in 1966 but feels much like a 50s film.
