Grey appeared with Joan Crawford in The Women and is in the Ross Hunter production AIRPORT (70);she plays a passenger on board, and her performance as "Candy" in Sam Fuller's THE NAKED KISS(64) is classic.

Virginia Grey also appeared in Ross Hunter's 1960 film "Portrait in Black" as Matt Cabot's loyal secretary ..her role was quite crucial as the plot unfolds.
you need to watch the scene in the Chinese Restaurant when Sandra Dee asks her character to join her and John Saxon for a brief moment..a very touching scene

Yes. Virginia passed away this past year at the Motion Picture County Home. Prior to that, she had been living for years in a modest, somewhat run-down apartment in Sherman Oaks.

Mimsy. She is named in the script. The one scene where her name is said was cut from the final movie before it was released. It was a scene where they cut the wedding cake at the wedding party. A picture from it is used on a "newpaper." Anyway, she throws the dinner party and makes Holly come as a guest of Phil's so the seating won't be thrown off. She listens to Holly's story about the phony prince and tells Holly that only bears hibernate, you know.
