At the time of this post (June 2010), various used and new copies of the
Far from the Madding Crowd
soundtrack album, in both CD and LP format, are available for a wide variety of prices through Amazon and elsewhere. The album does include Isla Cameron's rendition of the folksong "The Bold Grenadier", as heard in the film.
In the "Bold Grenadier" track, the orchestral passage that the end of the vocal melody transitions into is one of my favorite moments in all film music.

The liner notes of my original soundtrack LP state the the song is called "The Bold Grenadier", and it is sung by the late Isla Cameron.
