I'd be interested in possible deleted scenes. Supposedly Laurence Harvey had several scenes as an officer in the Heavy Brigade that were cut from the final version. In the book 501 Must-See Movies, there is a screen cap of Lord Cardigan surrounded by Russian lancers which isn't in the film. Having just re-read The Reason Why, I suppose this scene showed Cardigan making it to the Russian guns, only to try and withdraw in the middle of battle.
