I recently added this film to my personal collection and I found it riveting, a seriously adult film about adult relationships. Beryl Reid's performance was nothing short of Oscar-worthy and I'm thrilled to learn she won a Tony award for her portrayal of Sister George on Broadway.

This is one of my favorite films of the '60s, and I revisit it every couple years just to be reminded of how well a film can work when it has the right cast, script, director and attitude. 10/10 from me, and I don't give that away easily.
