The bit where mercy croft first arrives and starts going on about walking, George's face going up the stairs behind her makes me cry laughing its just so random - ace film full of these little quirks all over.

I agree. The dialogue in this film is hysterical and the cast, particularly Beryl Reid, pulls it off tremendously.

My favorite part is George's description of the cab ride with the nuns. It would have been even funnier had we not already seen it.
