I assumed for 44 years that Oscar's apartment was a studio set interior at Paramount Pictures on Melrose in Hollywood.
Wrong!
According to IMDB, it's a real apartment at a real NYC apartment hotel!
When will we get to see an Odd Couple "making of" documentary on Turner Classic Movies?
Soon I hope!

The apartment is a set. The IMDB location refers to the apartment building exterior.
