I was surprised when I saw that they included a gay character in the movie (even though he has a minor role).
His mannerisms totally give it away. Who played this character?

Way ahead of its time.
Kramer: he was very impressed with what I do.
Elaine: What you do? You don't do anything!

Timothy Scott's best known role for cult audiences is the guy on the mini motorcycle in Vanishing Point with the naked girlfriend…
In mainstream cinema he's the one friendly guy to Kevin Bacon, his friendly boss, who helps him have the dance by it taking place on his property, just outside the border of town…

I thought the man in the kitchen who was always angry, was gay.

Thanks for the details of Timothy Scott. I'm sorry to hear he died so young.

That's Timothy Scott. His character's name is Gore Pontoon in the movie. He made his acting debut in Russ Meyers' "Motor Psycho" in 1965 and he also appeared in such films and TV shows as "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid", "Land of the Giants", "The Green Hornet" and "Batman". Scott died in 1995 at age 57.

Blake Edwards often includes gay characters in his films. In "10," one of the main supporting roles is a well-developed gay character who Dudley Moore turns to for advice.
I guess the character here was supposed to be gay, but he seemed like just a stereotype to me: limp-wristed, hair-stylist. I don't know who played him. Anyone?
