i have to say, the transfer to the entire orig apes blu rays are among my list of best transfers out there, really incredible and while the artwork basically sucks (I don't know why they can't use original poster art like Warners), looking done by a college student on their photoshop, the quality is amazing… i don't much care for the badly CGI's lawgiver (imitating the orig lawgiver John Huston's voice) but you can choose to ignore his introductions
my favorite one, escape, is especially beautiful looking… no added brightness, no uneven grain, nothing bad, all great…

Agreed. The boxset is one of my favorites. I love all the special features, especially the Behind the Planet of the Apes documentary. That documentary is pretty much what got me so interested in the series.
