Good point Alan! Interesting how we use other words such as gelding or spading or neutering when referring to animals. I wonder how it would have been if Bob Barker ended every episode of the Price is Right with "Remember to castrate your pet".

Tbf, the apes probably seen it as Taylor was an animal, so was a horse and the procedure was of the same nature.
