After watching this film (for which I was aware Ruth Gordon received a well-deserved Oscar win for Best Supporting Actress), I was expecting to see
The Exorcist
-like numbers for nominations, but was surprised that
Rosemary's Baby
only received one other nomination (albeit, in the respectable Adapted Screenplay category).
The lack of nominations for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress seem like very obvious snubs, and other nominations would have been more than welcome (Best Supporting Actor [Blackmer] and Best Original Score, to name a few).

Yeah this definitely deserved nods for Picture, Director, and Lead Actress at the very least. At least Ruth Gordon got a well-deserved award.
