John and Eileen are racing to find Harold, John starts speeding faster, going over the speed limit. A little kid jumps in front of John's car, he slams on the brakes but it's no use as the car smashes the little kid and kills him. John and Eileen get out and realize the little kid is actually Harold. After that, a car passes by the accident scene, and a person sitting in the back seat snaps a picture of it as the car drives away, followed by the man with the movie camera filming it, and alll of us!
I'm from Paris TEXAS

But is that really a new ending? The main point is "the whole world is watching" but if you just drive by in your rusty Rambler you are not part of the solution. The camera filming the audience asks what we will DO, besides simply watch.
