Spoilers!!!
I just can't help having those final words echoing in my mind:
Luis: Talk to her mother, talk to her
Mother: Luis, Luis!!! (with an huge, drawn out shriek!!!)
God-it was so chilling! I had no idea the movie was going to take a turn like that!
Oh-one other great scene. All the girls doing their needlework while imagining the fun the other girl was having in the barn with the woodcutter! That was classic!
Did anyone else have a favorite part?
Experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind toThe Outer Limits

Definitely chilling ending and the most memorable part. But there are many other good parts as well. I have to add in the scene where Irene and the other girls confront Teresa about her mother. And the two killings are absolutely chilling, especially the second one, since it is the main character and her death is a surprise at this point in the film.

Totally agree with all of you so far! I am old enough to have seen the film in my late teens when it was first released, and at that time rated it as one of the best horror I had ever seen So many twists and turns that made the ending totally unexpected and more effective. Pity "Chicho" Serrador made so few films for theatre releases.
