<p dir="auto">Blood and Lace is great, sort of an american Giallo, I had to track it down on a dutch VHS pre the DVD age! I think Black Christmas is comparable too, it's moody, creepy, sinister, slow and skillfull to build, and the setting is sort  an updated version of a girls school.</p>
