I can remember a delightful series of commercials for Pampers from about 1978. In this series, Nanny has opened a baby store, and is selling layettes. In one of the commercials, Juliet Mills, who was pregnant in real life, says that she has a good reason for wanting to use Pampers, because she's expecting a baby herself.
And in a subsequent commercial, two new mothers see Nanny in the hospital and say, "There's Nanny and her new baby." Nanny talks about taking her new daughter, Melissa, home with Daddy.
Does anyone else remember this sweet and charming series of TV commercials?

I definitely remember the commercials. However, I don't recall them calling her "Nanny," and I would think that maybe they wouldn't because then there would have been all kinds of (potential) copyright problems with the producers/creators/owners of the show. I mean, she WAS Nanny, same clothes/style/etc, but I don't remember her BEING Nanny, per se.
