Did this only run for one or two seasons?
My memories of this show seem to be that it ran for years but I guess it was just constantly repeated.
I loved the opening song and the only hinted at idea that Nanny had magical powers.
The world was a different place back then.

Actually, salmineo above is correct. It was a half-season of 15, a full season of 24, and a final half-season of 15. It was followed by an animated series.

It's 1st season was as a mid-season replacement series in January, 1970. It's 15 episode run was a hit, and renewed for 24 more episodes in season 2, September 1970, to May 1971. It was renewed for fall 1971, and was canceled by the 15th episode in season 3, december, 1971.
