In the write-up for "Nanny and the Professor", it says that Nanny uses her own brand of ESP. Nanny was not just psychic, she had a propensity for making things magically work out right. The implication was
that Nanny was some kind of witch or something.
I really wish this series was available on DVD. I like it so much.

I don't know about that, but Richard Long (the professor) had a heart attack and died.
