hey people, i watched this movie in my social studies class, and i didn't know there would be questions so i didn't really pay attention. and of course we got questions and i don't know any answers. i kinda fogot about this until like 10 minutes ago, and seeing how not very many people come on this board i doubt i will get a response in time for tomorrow. anyway here are the questions. any help would be great
1 what were 3 things that King Charles ordered to be done or that he believed in that Cromwell did not agree with?
2 what happened to the Earl of Strafford?
3 why did the Puritans dislike the queen of england?
4 under whose authority did cromwell arrest the king?
5 what symbols of the anglican church did cromwell not want in his church service?
6 how did cromwell decide who would be hung for mutiny?
7what was the reaction of the witnesses after the kings execution?

You might have pointed ou to your obviously ill-educated educators that (6) the word is 'hanged', meaning until dead. Anybody 'hung' is brought down still alive for further punishment-as in 'hung, drawn and quartered'
I've
seen
things you people wouldn't believe

It's probably for the best that you didn't get any answers. A lot of butthurt exists between the English and the Irish concerning this issue.
