<p dir="auto">It was an unusual moment when Elvis took a piece of paper out of his pocket in the middle of this song (just before the verse beginning "Her daddy was lazy and no count"), looked it over carefully, then handed it off to a band member!  Presumably this was to check on the words.  I had heard of Frank Sinatra, at least, using a device such as a teleprompter during concerts but have absolutely never seen a performer consult a note during any performance!  Has anyone else?  If that note still exists it would doubtless be rather valuable now!</p>
