I love this film very much. Despite the flaws, it's a wonderful adaptasion of Wuthering Heights. And the soundtrack! This music strikes me every time I watch the movie. Does anybody know where I can get it? I have been looking for it for a long time.

A decent LP of the soundtrack shows up on eBay from time to time. I've bought at least three factory sealed copies there. Usually in the $10 to $15 range. There is a device that links your stereo to your computer so that you can copy LPs, cassettes, etc. to your computer and then to MP3 or burn CDs. This device is about $50.00 at Best Buy. There is also a CD recording device that records directly from LP (or whatever) directly to CD that costs about $200.00 This does not filter out the hiss, pops and cracks however.

Hi, I love this film too. I can't express what it makes me feel. I just can't stop to watch it every time. I don't know why but I feel like I'm part of this film. The music is wonderful. The name of the composer is Michel Legrand. You can find this theame in the cd "The essential" in many cd shops.
Bye,

Other than the soundtrack, I fell in love with the lyrics to the song "I Was Born in Love With You". Johnny Mathis is the only person I ever heard sing it, first in an album from the 1970s, as a medley with another song, "Summer Me, Winter, Me" both of which I believe were written by Marilyn and Alan Bergman and Michel LeGrand.
Mathis, a few years ago, did another recording of "I Was Born in Love With You" on the album called, "How Do You Keep the Music Playing," which has the full lyrics along with a beautiful orchestration for it. I think it featured the songs of the Bergmans and LeGrand.

I got one off Ebay. The lp sounds as it's been played a lot!! Understandably so! Still, it plays fine. I love that music.

For ages have I been looking for this music. It's a shame that music so hauntingly beautiful as this is not availiable. let's hope someone in charge or whatever wakes up and releases it. At least the film itself is on dvd. Which is GREAT:-)
