I believe the DVD is uncut. I have seen 4 versions (VHS, laserdisc, DVD and in the theater) and best as I can remember they were all the same. Sometimes non-porn movies from that era that were X-Rated have now been re-rated and changed to an R for home video release. I believe Midnight Cowboy is another example. It would seem the original poster seems to be misinformed. Unless he can prove it is cut then probably this thread should be deleted before more b.s. is spread.

When did you watch the tape version? Do you still have it?
(i.e. is one possible explanation that your memory is playing tricks on you?)

I had watched the video version in Turkey.Itwas a betamax video.Especially scenes of nudity are removed. But this s not very important. It doesn't affect the story. But I generally keep away from censored copies.

The 114/110 running time difference is U.S. movie speed (24 frames/second) vs. European movie speed (same as PAL TV, 25 frames/second). It has nothing to do with "cut". The visual content of the R1 and R2 DVDs is identical.
Almost all DVDs have a running time difference of about 4% betweeen R1 and R2. Actually transforming the frame rate (rather than just showing the slightly different frame rate) takes lots of sophisticated computer processing, is rather expensive, and can easily produce a result that's worse instead of better.
Depending on the technology, the sound track sometimes has to be "adjusted" for the slightly different speed. But this is much easier than changing the visuals and is done routinely.
Viewers almost certainly won't be able to tell the difference between 24 fps and 25 fps (only one person who's a musician and artist has told me they could tell the slight difference in speed when viewing and even that claim hasn't been verified by any third party).

Wow, I've got the DVD in right now on pause at 0:00 and the time remaining display on the DVD says 1:53:38, so I'll take that as a 114 minute running time. My version is the Region 1 DVD.
So, I suppose this ends this thread, cause, um, apparently the Warner DVD is uncut (at least for Region 1) and that the OP needs to do more research and list more facts (like stating whether he has a R1 or R2 version).
End result:
R1 is uncut.
R2 is cut.
and as always, that's just my opinion, others may vary

Okay i just got the dvd today and the run time on the back says 114 minutes. So apparently IMDB's run time must actually be for the cut version.

Yeah i'd like to know where hellhound read that it's cut. The run time on the Warner dvd is 110 minutes, same as the run time listed on the imdb page.
