I remember watching an episode of McMillan & Wife that retold a loose version of the story of Philip Heseltine, the British music critic who composed music under the pseudonym Peter Warlock. Like the Jeremy Northam film Voices From A Locked Room, the McMillan episode portrayed Heseltine/Warlock as a multiple personality. Does anyone else remember this episode, or know which one it might be?

Yes, I was just watching this episode on DVD. I didn't notice at first that the words and lips were not in sync and that another actor was supplying the voice.

I just saw it and I think it is Henry Jones. Sounds just like him anyway. He must have been a Universal contract player. Shows up in everything.

I think the episode is "Blues for Sally M" from Season 2. Keir Dullea guest stars in it.
