I'm fearing I'm mistaken since I couldn't find anything anywhere mentioned about what would surely be something noteworthy, but nonetheless I can't shake the suspicion that Doris Day has a cameo in "The Face of Murder," the fifth episode of the first season. Can anyone confirm or deny?
In the episode, Sally is trying to locate a specific scent and she and Mac visit a string of perfume counters. The gag is that the attractive attendants at each counter gush, "Hi, Mac!" when seeing him. I did a double take on the last countergirl/woman because it appeared to my aging eyes to be none other than Doris Day. It would have been a perfect place to include such a cameo.
Here's hoping a fellow fan can weigh in. Thanks!

I know what episode you are speaking of (I watch it on Netflix a lot) and that wasn't Doris Day. Would have been great though!
