<p dir="auto">Whenever I looked at the TV Guide back in the late 1970s and early '80s, it seemed the only time<br />
McMillan &amp; Wife<br />
was on was after midnight. I watched one show about the Loch Ness monster and how Rock, Susan and Nancy immediately saw the creature's humps moving in the lake immediately after reaching Loch Ness by car - that was fast!<br />
The more I study it, the greater the puzzle becomes.<br />

<p dir="auto">After the show ended its run in 1977, CBS bought the reruns for its "Late Movie" weeknight series (which ran after the late local news). After the CBS reruns ended, it went into syndication and started popping up in earlier hours.</p>
