<p dir="auto">It's mentioned in the goofs that natural gas  contained  carbon monoxide. This is incorrect, as carbon monoxide was a component of coal gas, which was used for cooking and heating at this time. Natural gas is predominantly methane and does not contain carbon monoxide. Coal gas poisoning was used my may to commit suicide before it was displaced at the end of the 1960s<br />

<p dir="auto">John Christie says to Beryl Evans that 'gas' (which in 1949 was coal gas) contains carbon monoxide, which is correct but then states the chemical equation is 'C-O-2', which is incorrect. Christie victimized the ignorant and the unknowledgable, and is presented here overwhelming the poor, simple Beryl with bafflegab in order to perform his 'Home-Abortion' procedure.</p>
