I don’t mind slow pace movies but this makes watching grass grow way the **** more entertaining.
I started watching this overrated hunk of crap but will quit because it is going nowhere.
And Jane’s “acting,” is some of the worst I have ever seen.
She has no emotion and no range to draw me in and make me want to care.
Same can be said for Don.
If she hadn’t won an Oscar for playing a hooker, (which lets face it, was the only reason she won for being daring), the film would be pushed even further under the rug.
Norman! What did you put in my tea?

I prefer character driven movies over those movie techniques you mentioned if done right and Klute is doing it all wrong.
Watch The Conversation to see how to do it.
To draw us into the plot and characters with suspense.

You were spot on with this one.
Don, also with bad/wooden acting, may as well have been furniture.
And how unbelievable that a high class call girl somehow lost her Park Ave. apt. and is trying to find other gigs of modeling or acting for a different lifestyle.
Of course they have Fonda play a higher class hooker instead of a street walker but she is still a whore.
Or like they say, you can’t polish a turd.
That goes for her profession as well as this movie.
