Sly Stone is apparently in one scene as a nightclub patron (uncredited) but I can't spot him. In the scene where Fonda enters a nightclub and crosses the dance floor to sit with Roy Scheider's character there is a brief glimpse of a big guy in a blue satin short dancing that MIGHT be him but it is so brief it is hard to tell. Does anyone have a more positive identification?

He can be seen dancing in front of an organ in the first disco clip, but just for a few seconds.

I have seen the film multiple times and still can't find him.
However, in the short making-of documentary called "Klute in New York : A Background for Suspense", included on the dvd, there's a very clear but very short shot of him, in the street, dressed like a pimp with a hat and glasses, at 3:38 exactly.
