<p dir="auto">Was that crash between the two horses near the end intended to happen that way or was it a major stuntman's mistake?   I can't see either horse walking away from that one. No CGI in those days so it wasn't computer generated. OUCH!</p>

<p dir="auto">It was an accident. They used tripwires rather than train a horse to fall in a lot of movies back then (a trained horse always falls to its left). I don't know what the animal welfare rules were back then, but this was shot in Spain, so that may not even have mattered.<br />
They cut before the black horse, the collider, could get up. I wonder if it ever did.</p>
