When they met the native, he was in the midst of killing a lizard. When he gets up close, he has many lizards tied around his waist. And there was only 3 of them, yet he kills more animals than they can eat. I found it odd that a native being disrespectful to the land would kill more than they could eat
BTW, You should never kill more than you can eat is a line from Land of The Lost
Land of The Lost is also a line in a poem in the movie
