I'm a big watcher of this show but they've pushed the limits of bad taste tonightlast night's was bad enough but the whole "death roulette" thing tonight was just terrible..cannot believe itv sanction this sort of sick nonsense..the only thing they should get is complaints and not plaudits.
Also, seems the miracle recovery powers at Hotten general struck again..Rhona & Aarron both at death's door one minute, then they're both back on their feet attending the funeral - laughable.

I was doing a horror program search today on IMDb and found it strange that 'Emmerdale Farm' came up on the list. I wonder if it's the only soap that gets included in the horror category. I haven't watched it for years so I wonder if the farm has been overtaken by zombies or vampires.

An article I read today said next week's episodes will have Ross finding out, Aaron finally properly waking up finding that Robert stayed by his bedside & never left & Rhona still in the hospital etc.
So I'm assuming that Friday's episode ending on the funeral was just a flash forward.

I heard it's like 6 weeks or so after. I was wanting to see ross' reaction as well because he obviously missed his chance to go to the hospital and see him for the last time. It's annoying that we won't get to see all the reactions because I'm presuming Mondays will be after the funeral.

Ehh I don't think the funeral is happening a day or 2 after he died. Its probably been a few weeks

Definitely been a few weeks, no idea why the OP is assuming its happening soon after.
Wonder how Mondays ep will pan out though, will it just carry on from the funeral or from the day he dies. Because I really want to see Ross's reaction to finding out his dad has died.

I meant to say (but lost sight of your post!), given that there would have to have been a post-mortum on James, maybe a good few weeks had passed by the time of the funeral?

I thought it was well done but there would have to have been a post-mortum on James to establish how he came to be at the scene of the crash. They obviously didn't find restraint marks on his wrists, a second breakage of his leg, traces of morphine in his system, needle marks in weird places, etc. So no finger pointed at Emma yet, judging how she was being consoled by Finn at the funeral.
