i remember when it came out, and i had the mad magazine version of it (HAHA!!) but i wonder why it never made it into rotation with all the other dystopic seventies sci-fi that went 'round</p>

<p dir="auto">That was  probably the time I saw it also but missed the first few minutes of it. Frightening premise but ZPG was one of the favorite causes of the 1960's.</p>

<p dir="auto">This was on the sci-fi or USA network on December 31 1999. It was part of an end of the world movie festival they were having. They also played movies like the day after, last days of planet earth and there were a few others but I cant remember now.</p>
