Yes, it most definitely does. I noticed that last week in one particular episode for the first time. The criss-crossing is different, but the colors are the same, and the blue lines and sparkles are reminiscent of the blue stripes and stars of the flag.

This is hilarious! I just said the exact same thing to my daughter while watching on Buzzr a little while ago. It really did, if you caught it from a certain angle.
