When Richard is deep in concentration he sticks his lips out like a duck. Did Gene or any panel member ever say anything about it on air? I wonder if it was a nervous habit or if he thought it made him look smarter.
Or perhaps he was practicing puckering his lips for an upcoming smooch!

It does look like a duck. I never noticed it until last week when Buzzr started showing up on my TV. Other than that he's cool

Respectfully disagree. I think that he figured that it made him look smart.

Both in Dawson's case, and it's just as tiresome as Brett's singing and weird comments.
Richard thought it made him look cute.
It seems to be a really bad habit among Brits.
Kind of like Prince Charles always adjusting his shirt cuffs.
