I was queuing this up in Netflix and I noticed a difference between the Blu-ray and DVD specs.
On DVD this is listed 1.66:1
On Blu-ray it's listed as 1.78:1
I thought they were usually really good about getting the framing right on Blu-rays, but if it is indeed the case that they cropped the 1.66 image to fit a 1.78 screen, that sounds pretty crappy.
Anyone know what's the deal here?

This is a rather late reply, but having watched the blu-ray last night, I can confirm that the listing is a misprint; it's properly framed at 1.66:1. It also looks surprisingly robust for an older transfer of a low-budget movie.
