I am from McNairy County, so i know it very well. But i have a question. Pauline died in the ambush on New Hope Roadi know where it is but i don't know any "landmarks" that can tell me what part of the road the ambush took place. I'm from southeast McNairy County.

It's been twenty two years since I've been to site of the wreck but I'm sure if you ask someone in that lives nearby they'll be more that happy to tell you. There is a little bar at the state line run by a lady named Jeannie across from the old shamrock that's still open. I go there occasionally when I go to see my folks, Some of the older men from the area tend to stop by and It's a good bet that one of them would know the exact spot of the ambush seeing that it happened not far from there
