I have seen those movies in the early in the '80-s, in Romanian comunist cinemas.
Being a child at that time, I was amazed by the fighting scenes:)
Watching the movies after 30 years, I am surpriced that the comunist censor let the movies to be played in a socialist succesful country at that time:).

What is so surprising about it? They wanted us to see the high crime rate in the declining western civilization, and to see the moral of story - "crime doesn't pay".
