I suppose I probably would have laughed if I was 5. But it was too lowbrow. That kind of humor needs to be banned in movies.

I can understand why because many countless modern comedies have made the fart joke to be clichd to the point it's become unfunny and boring. Even still, the scene is iconic and it's what started (or popularized) the use of fart jokes you see in today's movies.
