Which of those five characters is your fave and why?
For me its a toss up between basil and Gordon.
Gordon of course wasn't as nasty as Basil, he was generally well meaning but just rubbed everyone the wrong way.
Most of basil's bad behaviour was brought about by fear of Sybil.
Victor Meldrew I felt sorry for, I felt he didn't deserve the some of the stuff that came his way and something about Margaret Meldrew rubbed me the wrong way, never liked her to be honest!
Edmund Blackadder was is probably the most intelligent of the five, although his personality varied from persona to persona. he started a wimp, became nastier and sort of mellowed a bit during the first world war era.
personally Ive never liked Del Boy, at all!
I know i'm probably in a minority but I cant stand the character, he really is a calculating, snidey piece of work and the way he treats poor Rodney is really bad.
