It would of been very convenient for Florence with Harry living right next door if they were to of gotten married and lived together right next door to the Jeffersons. Florence wouldn't need to go very far to her job as the Jeffersons' maid

I like how in one episode George has Florence and Ralph the doorman pretened to be Tom and Helen so he can land a deal with another man who has an interracial marriage Bentely doesn't appear in the episode but I though he could alway go next door and get Bentley to pretend to be Tom rather than Ralph.

Can anybody find the footage of Florence and Harry Bentley when they sang "Side by Side" together? Wikipedia says it's in the Episode 'Homecoming' but there were a few episodes called 'Homecoming', several of them are broken into parts. I'd love to find that, maybe you guys will have some ideas?

Mr. Bentley was odd-looking and Florence isn't a beauty queen, either, but she could do better than Mr. Bentley. Additionally, they just don't look like they'd have much in common. LOL He's English and she's black. It'd be weird on so many levels.
It'd be like Brad Pitt marrying Kathy Griffin. It'd be a strange couple.

I don't know about Florence and Bentley together. I have a feeling Bentley is an undercover freak and that would "freak" Florence out being a Christian and whatnot.

I was hoping they would have in the end. I like the episode when they were set up by a match maker. I guess by the later years it was getting lame that Harry Bentley was still a swing bachelor which was suppose to be the coolest thing in the 70's, but by the 80's it was more complete to actually have a steady relationship.
