I remember one episode Mike Evans was with mother Jefferson when he said "the jujubees you always get me" when MJ takes him to Coney island. Other than that I think only Damon Evans acted in the other episodes with MJ.

Yeah, she wasn't at the Christmas wedding, I didn't like that. But maybe the actress was sick. Remember, in this one, she is in a wheelchair. I wonder if it was due to poor health?
What I did like in this episode, was that Louise at first thought she should take care of Lionel since he is feverish but then realizes after the incident with MJ that no, she has to let go. However, I think Lionel should've just stayed there since he could just stay in his room with Jenny there. Why bother to go home if his temperature is 101? In fact, how could he stand up?

yeah. I like in season one how Mike Eveans Lionel had great interaction with Mother Jefferson.
