Is Cecily Strong the only person in the cast who watches movies? Aidy thinks Marion's last name is Co-till-i-ard (not Co-tee-ard), Margot Robie's Keira Knightley impression is a posh British accent, and apparently Sasheer doesn't know who Lupita Nyong'o is because she just said her lines like a valley girl, as always, when Lupita has a thick Kenyan accent.

It's based on real Actress Round Tables that happen around award seasons. I think they're mostly done by Hollywood Reporter. Even though it was really a chance for Kate McKinnon to do a send-up on Judy Garland's barbiturate history when she was in the studio system (that article is making the rounds again). But still, how are you a cast member on SNL and you don't even research the person you're playing? Or just watch movies in general to stay up to date on popular culture?

That sketch reminds me of the season 24 or 25 movie sketches with Ana, Wil, Cheri, Molly, and some other guest star discussing movies in general. Almost similar in terms of delivery, only this time it's the women.
