<p dir="auto">Going to agree with you on this one. THere's such a heavy contrast between the 60's and 70's in terms of horror movie quality. The 70's was last major cultural revolution in terms of music and film (imo)</p>

<p dir="auto">I love how bright red the blood is in 70s horror films. Suspiria did that the best. Even though the blood looks unrealistic, it is visually stunning to look at.</p>

There were so many original works that were released at that time. 80s was the time of slasher. 90s was the time of self-aware slasher. 2000s was the time of the supernatural and the remake. 2010s is the time of the found-footage, and lately, the indie. The 70s was diverse and high in quality.</p>
