This guy sure does dig deep into Lynch and Tarkovsky. Lotta Hollywood movies too, but the man has a real knack, between Pervert's Guide to Cinema and the followup Ideology, to scratch underneath the surface and see what filmmakers are doing (whether they know it or not):
